Power In Praise Christian Ministries, Inc.
was founded
April 8th 1999. Power In Praise is the continuation
of the
great revival, which began at Jerusalem on the day
of
Pentecost A.D. 33. It was established upon the
foundation of the Apostles and Prophets. Jesus
Christ himself being Chief Cornerstone (Eph.2:19-20).
It was the affirmation that Pastor D.
Harris stepped out by
faith to do the masters work in the establishment
of
Power In Praise Christian Ministries, Inc. in
the month
of April 8th.1999
The road was not easy, for there were
many obstacles for
the Harris's to overcome. But by the lifting up
of the
Bloodstain Banner and seeking God the more; it
was not
long before GOD began to show Pastor Harris that
it is
up to Him (Jesus) not man. And if I (GOD) be lifted
up
he would draw all men. "That's just what
he did."
It was not long after that (GOD) started
to bless the
Ministry of Pastor Harris and Elect Lady A. Harris.
The past three years have been awesome. The church
has grown at a tremendous rate. No one but GOD
can
take the credit. Seats are filled and various
outreach
Ministries are in full operation. On time Desserts,
Gospel
groups, Prison Ministry, Holy Women on the Move,
Stand
and Deliver this is just to name a few.
We are especially elated and thankful
for our young
people and the accomplishments and the rate of
growth
in the oracles of the Word Of God.
